Located in South Wales, United Kingdom, Malcolm Owen has been writing professionally about technology since 2012. Formerly of Electronista and MacNN, Malcolm joined 糖心Vlog in January 2017, and has been at the keys daily ever since.

Highlights of his writing career so far include appearing as a gaming expert for BBC radio, taking part in numerous podcasts, and attending the occasional product launch. 

While the focus of his time is spent in Apple’s ecosystem, he is also keenly familiar with others, including Windows PCs, game consoles, and the Raspberry Pi. 

He spends his downtime pursuing photography and videography, which he edits on the Mac mini and iPad Pro. He also has an interest in the mechanics and psychology of magic tricks, while gaming has led to him learning about game development. 

While he owns two guitars, he's still astoundingly bad at playing them.
